My makeup Story Tag
1. How old were you when you started wearing makeup?
I started to use makeup when I realized I have so many imperfections on my face. I used my mom powder, eyeliner and lipstick when I was 15? I can’t remember.
2. How did you get into makeup?
When I started working. That’s when I started to try lots of cosmetic. I tend to look at pretty girl with pretty makeup on her face. Wow so pretty okay!
3. What are some of your favourite brands?
As time to time, I have tried lots of makeup brands. From drugstore to high end brand. My favourite drugstore brand is Maybelline – I love their lipstick and bb cushion. For high end, I love MAC – lipstick, blusher, and compact powder. Currently I am so obsessed with Too Faced, Kat Von D and Tarte (even I don’t own one, but im in the process to collect as much as I can!)
4. What does makeup mean to you?
I love makeup. Nowadays I feel incomplete if never wore anything on my face. My face macam so dull or pucat if I don’t wear makeup. Even my officemate boleh tegur why your face so pucat, haha. It is an addiction to me. Makeup will cover my blemish and enhance my feature. Every product that I have is a learning process to me. I don’t simply wear. You should never buy makeup if you don’t want to use it.
5. If you could only wear 4 products on your face, what would they be?
So hard to choose! My choice will be:-
1. Eyebrow pencil from The Face Shop – could never leave the house without my eyebrow done
2. Pure Mineral Bb cushion from Maybelline
3. Silky Girl Shimmer Duo Blusher
4. Matte lipstick by MAC
6. What is your favourite thing about makeup?
It will boost your confidence and make you pretty. Seriously aha. You can always share with others about makeup. What is the trend now? How to apply this properly? You can never be bored with makeup.
7. What do you think of drugstore VS high end makeup?
If I had all the money in the world I would invest them in high end makeup because they were so many things that look so pretty. As well as drugstore one. There are lots of good one. Love the blusher from Silky Girl, lipstick from in2it and Maybelline, eyeliner and mascara from Maybelline. But right now because I love makeup so much, I am delighted to spend my money on the higher brand. Makeup is an investment to me, I love all my makeup!
8. What is the one makeup trend you’ve never understood?
None? As far as I remember. Haha. Maybe one? I don’t understand ombre lipstick. So colourful!
That is all I can share for now. In conclusion, makeup is so sebati in me hahha. I watched lots of tutorial and lots of makeup review on youtube. My goal right now is – to collect all my makeup wishlist. And learn to do makeup by the professional.
