What’s on July and August

“Live for the moments you can’t put into words”

Now shall we go straight to the main things happen on last month?

As usual every year my company will organize a Hari Raya celebration, I spent an amazing time with my friends enjoying all the food and the time we have. However, by the time I am writing this I realized almost half of them are going to leave the company. People come and leave, but the memories and friendship we have will last. Soz, I am not crying.

Hello Perhentian!

One of the most beautiful island – Pulau Perhentian

Like I have mentioned on my previous post, I plan a short getaway on the first week of August. I was at Pulau Perhentian. This wasn’t my first time at Pulau Perhentian yet I am still excited! This place has become one of my favourite place to spend for holidays. I can always see myself enjoying the breathtaking scenic view and the blue sea water at Pulau Perhentian. Though this is not my first time here, each moments I spent with friends were unforgettable.

However, not every plan we make will turn into a sweet memories. Everything was good, the island hoping and the time we spent wondering around the beach was fascinating. There was some point during the trip I was unlucky. I will write up a post on the unfortunate things happen and the mistake I make during this trip. Stay tune for it.

This year is the 29th South East Asia Sea Games which Malaysia was the host. I am so lucky enough to get both tickets for the Opening and Closing Ceremony. The experience I gained during those events was spectacular! Plus this was the first time I am taking the MRT to Stadium Bukit Jalil. To be honest, I don’t remember when was the last time I get on a train to get around KL.

The Opening Ceremony

The unforgettable closing ceremony. Celebration for Malaysia for being the champion and celebrating the 60th years of Merdeka

Wasn’t the ceremony looks grand and beautiful? I was so proud to be one of the thousands audience who witnessed such a great ceremony. More exciting that we are the champions for the Sea Games. Congrats to all dedicated athletes, your courage and passion towards our country was beyond priceless.

I know I spent lots of watching TV Series for the last 2 month, and that explain why I did not write any post. The shows that keep me busy are Ruler: Master of the Mask, Gilmore Girls (Season 1-2) and Game of Thrones.

Ruler: Master of the Mask is a must watch Korean drama! I never thought I was always waiting for the episodes each week. The storyline was so good, so intense, so beautifully written and so sad I can never forget how this drama makes my heart aching and painful at the same time. Please watch if you haven’t!

Gilmore Girls was shown years before. At that time I does not have the time to follow each seasons thoroughly, so thankfully now I can. If you still remember Jess Mariano or Milo Ventimiglia, how can you not watch him in Gilmore Girls. I hope I finish this series soon because I want (need) to watch Heroes after this.

And finally, Game of Thrones! Seven episodes (for Season 7) are not enough for me. Each week passes really fast yet I am always counting the hours for a new episode. The last episode was beyond what I imagined. Though I have read so many plot spoiler for the final episode. And guess what? I am re-watching GOT and I am on Season 2. Right now I am waiting patiently for my Song of Ice and Fire books to arrive. Please come to me faster I cannot wait to read it and immerse myself.

I finished reading Caraval by Stephanie Garber and Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella. Two books for the last 2 months and I only have read 6 books this year.

Caraval was so good. Full of magic, full of mysterious scene. The story worth all the hype bookaholic was raving. I am proud and glad and I read this as soon as I purchases and I finished this book. Finding Audrey was just a light reading I read during my trip to Pulau Perhentian. Currently I am reading The Honeymoon by Tina Seksis (as recommended by http://www.nadiaizzaty.com) and Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson. Hopefully I can finish both of this before new books arrive.

That’s all for my Monthly Highlights. Hope you have a wonderful days and please share the great things happen the last weekend on the comment box, I am happy to read.
